About us
Aim Forward is your personal partner for learning and working your way. For 10+ years we have used our expertise in neurodivergence and mental health conditions to run thousands of assessments and create personalised strategies for people to help them excel in their everyday life.

Our Journey
We started our journey supporting university students via the government-funded Disabled Students’ Allowance. Over time we have expanded to help people in the workplace and at school with our assessments. Government changes to the fund, and our passion to ensure that every individual has their unique story heard meant that it was no longer a space we could do the most good. By opening up our assessments and starting to offer coaching, we can share everything we have learned about what works and what doesn’t when helping you to excel.
We want more people to benefit from our experience and knowledge of neurodivergence, as well as mental and physical health conditions. Both personally and professionally, many of us have seen the difference it makes when your story is acknowledged in your support strategies for learning, working and beyond.
When you work with us, you can expect a personalised, empathetic approach combined with excellent professional standards. You could be self-employed, employed or studying for GCSEs, A-Levels, apprenticeships, or further or higher education. Whatever life looks like for you, Aim Forward can work with you to shape the solutions for your future.

What is it like working with us?
You will always be heard at Aim Forward.
The word ‘assessment’ can be stressful for some, especially if you lacked the right support at school or university. We want to make sure you feel seen, understood and included in decisions that affect you.
From your first contact with our support team to the personalised strategies we create with you, you can always expect to be part of the process and have your individual experiences acknowledged. As well as friendly faces, we want you to feel like you are in expert hands.
- Our diagnostic assessors are either educational psychologists registered with the HCPC or British Chartered Psychological Society or specialist assessors with an Assessment Practising Certificate from AMBDA, PATOSS or Dyslexia Guild.
- Our needs assessors hold a variety of disability-specific qualifications, alongside decades of experience working with neurodivergence, mental health conditions and other disabilities including lived experience.
- We support continued professional development (CPD) through internal and external training – this means our team members are always updating their knowledge and working practices.
