The term neurodivergence is used to describe when a personโ€™s brain functions and behavioural traits differ from what is considered โ€˜typicalโ€™ for most people. Some people benefit from specific neurodivergent support to help them thrive.

Every individual is unique, but if you think you might be neurodivergent, you may experience some of these:

Common difficulties

  • Memory
  • Organisation
  • Time management
  • Concentration
  • Communication
  • Social cues
  • Changes to routine
  • Sensory sensitivities

Common strengths

  • Innovative thinking
  • Creativity
  • Focus
  • Critical thinking
  • Abililty to identify themes/trends
  • Spatial knowledge
